Layered landscape editing
- [Instructor] This week we're going to take a look at layered landscape editing in Unreal. Now this is a fairly new feature, I'm using Unreal 4.24. Now layered landscape editing is very similar to layers in Photoshop, and it gives you a lot of the same advantages that allows you to create your landscapes in layers, and that way you can switch layers on or off or you can edit on a specific layer. I find it a much easier way to work. So let's start by creating a landscape. So I'm going to go over to a landscape here, and we want to create new, I want to make sure I have enable edit layers switched on, that's the most important thing because that's what we're going to look at. In terms of material, I'm just going to use the basic material here.
