- Hi, I'm George Maestri and welcome to Introduction to 3D. 3D modeling and rendering is a great way to create all sorts of images, from product shots to animation and visual effects. In this course, we'll take a look at the fundamental concepts that you'll need to know when working with 3D modeling and rendering software. We'll start out with the basic concepts of navigating 3D space and manipulating objects. Then, we'll move on to modeling where we'll take a look at how 3D objects are created.
Next, we'll take a look at the techniques used to add color and texture to 3D models. Finally, we'll go over the process of rendering which is where we create our final images. So, let's get started with Introduction to 3D.
Q. What was added to this course?
A. On 06/13/2016, three new chapters were added, exploring various softwares and how to apply basic modeling and rendering techniques.
