Flexing the spine

- [Instructor] I have a course in the library, dealing with a lot of the material in this chapter, called Animating in 2D: Loosening Up, which you should watch, if you want to delve into this in more detail. The basic principle of reversalence is quite simple. We build our key poses around a strong line of action, and when appropriately transitioned from one line of action to another, we reverse from a C curve to an S curve, or an S curve to a C, or a C to a reverse C. Move from one distinct shape to another, that's a reversal. The classic swishing tail animation is a great example of a curve moving and reversing from one of these shapes into another and back again. Don't overuse this technique, as too many reversals will make your animation look wobbly.
