- [Instructor] I'm very fond of giving examples of how to do old-fashioned 1940's Looney Tunes cheats like wipes and smears and this is a really good example. These are great to use if you want to get from one pose into a different pose and you know it's going to be a lot of business. To animate from this left pose to the right side, I have to move a lot of body parts around. I do a lot of drawings. So is there any way that we can cheat this kind of transition but still do it in a way that looks like we haven't cheated too badly? So let's have a look! Here's the final scene and as you can see it seems to work pretty well. And that's a fairly believable transition! Obviously it's pretty snappy too. Let's see how it was done. Again, here are our two keys and the big break between them is this anticipation down into this outline drawing at which you can see in red. I've made it red so you can see the lines separately from the two keyframes so they don't all get munched together. I've…
