Creating landscape features with splines
- [Narrator] Hi, I'm George Mistry. Unreal 4.25 now has ability to use splines, to create and deform landscapes. Now, this can be used for things such as roads, waterways, all sorts of things. Let's take a look at how this works. So I have a basic landscape and let's go into modes, landscape. And then when we go in here, you can see we have sculpt and paint, which we've used before. But if we go to manage, you'll see we have this option called splines. So what is that? Well, it allows you to draw splines onto your scene, and then that creates a path that could be used to deform the geometry. So we can create splines by holding down the Control key and clicking. So if I hold down, Control, left click, I lay down a spline. And notice how we get controls for each spline, and we'll get to those in a second. So I'm going to hold down Control and keep clicking. Now, each time you do that, you'll see, it kind of lays…
