Creating blend material
- [Instructor] The last thing we're going to discuss in this chapter, is the Blend material. Now I've gone ahead and placed this simple plane in the middle, which I have provided you as the ground path. You can just simply drag and drop it into the scene and scale it to match this area over here. And also I have placed this normal plane in here. Now this normal plane, it comes with just a couple of segments, or I would say one by one segment. And there are vertices at the edges here and no segments in the middle. So if I go to the wireframe view, there are no segments over here. However, the plane that I have provided you has lots of segments and there is a reason that I have added segments to it. And it is because the Blend material, it works on the vertices. So wherever there are vertices, we can blend different surfaces or materials on top of each other. Now to create a Blend material, all I need to do is go…
