Create and apply materials
- [Instructor] With the lighting of the logo completed, it's time to turn our attention to materials. Materials define the surface properties of an object so we can choose the color, reflectivity, and other properties. Normally the process of adding materials and lighting would go hand in hand, because you tweak the materials based on the lighting in the scene and vice versa. So I'm sure we'll be tweaking our lighting at some point. Before we begin, I just want to point out the content browser. So if you come over to the content browser and click onto Presets, it has some really useful materials in here. Let's just search for something like plastic. And you can see now that we've got a whole load of different plastic-looking materials. We can go into here and see more, and you can just navigate up and back through, just like you would. So there's other ones that we can look at here. Really interesting stuff. So you can certainly open these up, and begin to learn from them. We're going…
