Color grading scenes using LUTs
- [George] Hi, I'm George Maestri. Color correction is something that we do all the time in visual effects and we can also to it in Unreal. I'm going to show you how to do color correction using lookup tables in Unreal. Now some of this happens in an image editor such as Photoshop, but before we hop over there we need to make sure we have our same position the way that we want, so we get a good representation of the colors and scene. And then I'm going to hit print screen. So I just want to snapshot this image here, so I can use it in Photoshop. Now I'm going to go over to Photoshop and paste that in. And then I'm just going to go ahead and crop this. So I'm going to select out my actual image here, and do an image crop. Now once we have this, we can do color correction to get it the way that we want, and then we're going to copy that color correction over to another image, and that image is called a lookup table.
