- [Instructor] So this is a very simple head turn, we have the figure's looking left, little bit sad, someone probably having a birthday cake, so he turns and hooray it's my surprise birthday party. So this is the simplest possible way to do this. And let's take a look at the image frame by frame. So this is a typical way of doing it, there's a little down turn on the midpoint on the break, that's really a breakdown, I've circled it like it's a key frame, but it's really more of a breakdown. And it's a boring breakdown, I didn't want to do anything too heroic or fancy with it, so what happens here is that the anticipation of the reaction happens at the fastest point in the turn. But the problem with doing that is a lot of times you don't get to see the change in expression. You don't get to see that moment where he goes aha. So let's see how we might achieve that.
