Animate with MoGraph
- [Instructor] Our model is looking rather monotone, but that's totally fine. In a later movie, we're going to add materials and lights, and make it look pretty. We're at the stage now where we just want to animate, so that's what we're going to focus on. So, how do we animate in Cinema 4D? Well, the most common way of creating animation is by setting keyframes. It's possible to create animation without setting keyframes at all, but that's getting ahead of ourselves. A keyframe in Cinema 4D is, essentially, a piece of data stored at a specific point in time. When we set a keyframe, all we're doing is just moving to a frame in the timeline and then laying down a marker telling Cinema 4D, at this frame I want the object to be here and look like this. Now, I want to introduce you to the MoGraph system because we're going to use MoGraph to animate the words the Landon hotel.
