This course will give you an overview of the software and processes involved when working with 3-D and animation software. We'll start off with an overview of the software needed to work in 3-D. After that, we'll take a look at the workflows involved when creating images in 3-D. We'll begin with modeling, where we create 3-D objects, then move on to the texturing process.
We'll take a look at rigging characters to make them easy to animate, and then we'll bring them to life through animation. Then, we'll check out rendering, where we use lights and cameras to create final images. Finally, we'll talk about visual effects and compositing. I find 3-D to be a very rewarding way to create images. It combines a lot of different skills, both creative, and technical. So let's begin with getting started with 3-D and animation.
