- Hey, look what I got in front of me?…I've got two laptops!…Now, the A exams ask a lot of questions about laptops,…which are, in my opinion, really kinda basic.…But, never be said that Mike Meyers…doesn't cover everything on the CompTIA A ,…so we're gonna hit 'em right here.…So, in this episode, what I call Touring the Laptop,…we're just gonna go over some of the basic aspects…of your general laptop so that you know them for the exam.…So what I've got in front of me are two laptops.…Now, this one right here is a very late generation laptop.…
It's got a very high end Intel processor, tons of RAM.…It's got a SSD instead of a regular hard drive.…So this is a pretty cool, high end system.…Now this system here, he's pretty old.…I still use him like crazy.…But this is a much older system, not nearly as much RAM.…It's got an old school rotational media hard drive in it.…But, it's pretty good because I can open it up…and show you stuff without panicking,…whereas with this one, I'd be a little bit scared.…So let's just do a quick little tour.…
The CompTIA A+ 220-901 exam is comprised of six key parts. The sixth, laptops and mobile devices, is covered by this course. Instructor Mike Meyers gives a tour of laptop devices and shows how to expand, configure, manage, and disassemble laptop components.
