Toolpath editing
Once you've created an initial tool path, it's often much easier just to copy that tool path and make slight changes to its characteristics. So here I'll highlight the first folder, copy it, and paste it. Sometimes you'll get an error sound, but it'll go ahead and do it anyway, go figure. I'll also label this Interior, and now Exterior, so that I can keep these two separate. So, in order to make this work correctly, the first thing we need to do is redefine what region that we hope to cut. If I hit the little plus next to my Exterior folder, I'll get all the parameters I had access to before. I can look at these individually or I can simply double-click on the Exterior folder to get them all, as if we were making the tool path from scratch. So here under Machining Features I'll Remove All, select Predefined, and this time pick Exterior instead of interior. And that should pretty much do it.
