We have made the difficult decision to discontinue the lynda.com Office Ribbon Plug-in due to the challenges of creating a stable plug-in for various hardware, software, and security environments and with ongoing Microsoft software updates. We believe that using lynda.com on its own in a browser or mobile device is a better user experience than viewing videos through the Ribbon interface.

How to uninstall the lynda.com Office Ribbon software
Individual member instructions
To fully remove the plug-in, open the Windows Start Menu, go to the Control Panel, and then select Add or Remove Programs. From the list of programs, find the lynda.com Office Ribbon Plug-in, select Remove, and then follow the system prompts.
IT Administrator instructions
To fully remove the lynda.com Office Ribbon Plug-in from a managed system network, create a GPO or SCCM policy that executes the following command on the target systems either immediately or during the next boot:
msiexec.exe -uninstall <msi package> /quiet
The msi package was included in the initial installer.
The command line should indicate which version of the msi package you are using, so it should look like one of these:
msiexec.exe -uninstall lyndacomOfficeRibbonSetup32.msi /quiet
msiexec.exe -uninstall lyndacomOfficeRibbonSetup64.msi /quiet
After the command is executed on the users’ machines, the plug-in will be silently removed.
