iPhoto and Flickr are a perfect match for sharing pictures on the web. In iPhoto '09: 10 Things to Know About Flickr, instructor Derrick Story explains how these two applications work together to create online albums, known as sets. From the basics, like setting up a free Flickr account, to the more advanced features, like creating an iPhoto slideshow to publish on Flickr, Derrick reveals features that both beginning and advanced photographers can use to enhance their online collections.
So iPhoto '09 gives us some terrific tools for organizing our photos. We have Faces, we have Places, we even have Events from iPhoto '08. These are nice but you don't want to leave your photos locked in iPhoto. You want to share them with the world. That's why the connection with Flickr is so wonderful. Because now we can get the photos out of our iPhoto library and get them out in to the world where our friends and family can enjoy them too. I hope you have enjoyed these 10 tips that we have for using Flickr and iPhoto together. I encourage you to give it a try. It's a lot of fun and I have enjoyed spending this time with you too.
