Finding a lost iPhone or iPad

No one wants to see their iPhone get lost or stolen. Now well it is possible for someone to wipe it quickly if they really wanted to. There's another chance that as soon as you realize it's missing, you can use a built-in app called Find My iPhone, to locate it. However, Find My iPhone has to be activated on the phone before you take advantage of it. In the phone, and scroll down and tap iCloud. Here's a list of all the items that you have set currently to sync to iCloud, and here's where you can sign up for iCloud if you haven't already. Scroll down and tap, "Find my iPhone" to On. Tap Allow, which means that you're giving it permission to be able to find itself and show the location of the iPhone on a map. Tap Settings to get back to the main screen. I also recommend setting a pass code lock for your phone if you haven't done it already. This is a four-digit pin code that you'll need to input before you can unlock the phone.
