Rick has taught motion design at Art Center College of Design, the American Film Institute, UCLA, and Otis College of Design (where he has been on the faculty for the past five years), as well as at numerous conferences. His work has been featured in Creativity, Communication Arts, PRINT, Type Directors Club, Lemon, RES, and Zoo magazines. He has also shown work at D&AD; the New York Festivals; Lovebytes; and the Rotterdam, RESFEST, and Oberhausen film festivals. Some of his clients include HBO, MTV Networks, 20th Century Fox, Apple, ABC, and Toyota. Rick is inspired by everything around him, especially his wife Lisa and his dog Jun.
