Removing the background

Using Photoshop or some other image editing software, we can easily remove the background of an image, especially if the alpha channel was included. To get started, we need to open both the image as well as the alpha channel on separate layers in a file. The easiest way to do this is using Adobe Bridge. First we're going to go select the files from exercise files, chapter six and 6.3. I have a folder called images and I have placed a couple different images on there. Once I'm going to be using here are this fco for final color output, as well as the final color output alpha channel. Let's go ahead and choose both of those, hold down control. And as soon as I have them both selected, you can see em both over here, go up to Tools, Photoshop, Load files into Photoshop layers. What that does is open up Photoshop and places both the images on their own individual layers. Really quick way to get things into Photoshop.
