Adding saturated postcard-style color enhancements
For this project, we're going to create a postcard. And, a postcard has a certain look to it. And, to create this postcard, we're actually going to start with an image that we already corrected. That was the first landscape image that we corrected, in a previous project. So, we're going to start with that. What we did last time was a kind of a normal color correction, adjusting highlight, removing color cast, getting the highlights and shadows correct, adjusting the brightness and contrast for a normal landscape. Now, what we're going to do is just turn this into a postcard. What that typically means is, everything has got just more punch to it. And, the reason why postcards are like this is that postcards are sitting on a rack with a thousand other postcards, and they're probably surrounded by all sorts of knickknacks and other junk, and the postcards have to attract people's eyes and catch their attention. And, you know, low contrast, low color images that aren't super saturated…
