Jane Fulton Suri
- Everything that works against design works for design. I think we're going through this phase of changing form a society that consumes to a society that's asking questions about consumption, about well do I really need another one. And what do I do with this thing when it breaks or when it wears? Is that is where adding value or it is making it more precious, or is it something to throw away? And we're, as a culture in society, starting to ask that question, which is challenging to designers. But it's also clearly a really positive influence for design as well. It starts to force a new kind of creativity which I think will ultimately benefit us all.
