It says to use CMD+H (on the Mac) "to temporarily hide the selection mesh".
Under Mac OS X, this command will hide the application. Choose View » Hide
Edges to hide the selection mesh.
Page 242
At the top, there is a picture of the Timeline. The little caption box that says
"Click here to add a Motion Guide", actually points to the "Add new
layer" button. It should point to the icon just to the right.
Page 290 step 17
Should read "select the origImage symbol instance ..." rather than "select
the border symbol instance ...".
Page 313
The text refers to the textButton.fla file in chap_09 folder. There is no such file.
Instead you can just use the file that was created in the previous section.
Page 412 and 415
The screen shot above step 8 and step 12 respectively should say "Movie Clip"
in the Property Inspector- not "Graphic". Although the backgrounds can
be either Movie Clips or Graphic Symbols and the exercise will work just fine, to
stay consistent, we will change them to Movie Clips and we have updated the goToSceneFinal
FLA as well. You can download the corrected files here.
