Intro: Constructing a multiview part

Learning to use AutoCAD is a lot like learning a foreign language. Up to this point, we've been focusing on individual commands or words if you stick with the language analogy. In this session, I want you to put those words together to form a sentence. Take a look at the drawing on screen. This is your sentence. I'd like you to start from an empty file and recreate everything in this drawing, except for the dimensions. Don't worry about those just yet. As you work to accomplish this task, you'll have an opportunity to use many of the concepts we've talked about so far. By creating this drawing on your own, you can better identify your areas of strength as well as areas where you can use some review. So, take as much time as you need. See if you can get the drawing completed. And when you're ready, jump over to the next video and I'll show you how I would approach this same challenge.
