This week Bert walks us through creating reflections and shadows cast by the neon tube lights in this store sign.
He starts by selecting the tube and duplicating it twice to create the shadow and the reflection. Next, Bert modifies the shadows and reflections by adjusting the opacity and softening the edges of the shadow. He then adjusts the proportions and placement, and finishes by adding an inner glow to the reflection and bringing down the opacity to give it even more dimension.
Check out this week’s video to get started, and come back next week for another installment of Bert’s Pixel Playground.
