This week’s Pixel Playground technique will teach you how to create fluffy clouds using the brush tools in Adobe Photoshop.
Continuing from last week’s baby theme, this week Bert shows off an alternate way to create a baby logo—this time with clouds. He begins by using a soft brush to paint a few clouds and then ends up creating a brush from the small pattern. Next he creates a soft background with a gradient, then quickly adds the word “baby” before changing it into a selection. From there he adds the pattern to the stroke of the selection to create the baby clouds. Finally, he paints in a few more clouds to accent the edges and completes the technique with a subtle distortion effect.
