This week’s technique will teach you how to add spikes to your dragon tattoo.
Last week we learned how to create the scales for our dragon tattoo, and this week part 2 continues with the spikes. To add some spikes to the top of your dragon, you just need to begin with the pen tool. Next, add a fill to them with an inner glow. To add some depth to the spikes, paint in some details to compliment the angle of the spikes. Finally, to complete the effect, use the smudge tool to smear the brush strokes and add a clean stroke to the spikes.
