What do we do when we present a great novel idea to our higher–ups and they don’t approve it? We often start generating less novel ideas—and that benefits no one. Listen to creativity expert Stefan Mumaw as he explains how to sell your novel ideas to stakeholders so they see their value, and put them into action.
Know what’s important to your audience and then sell it through that lens.
Stefan Mumaw, creative director at Callahan Creek ad agency, frequent speaker, and author of four books on creativity, is the author of the course Creativity Training: Generate Ideas in Great Quality and Quantity. Stefan’s course is a hands-on, throw-down, get-moving type of workshop—almost every video will challenge you to not only learn the lesson, but also practice it. Often, Stefan will ask you to pause the video, and then challenge you with timed, creative exercises to help his illustrate points. These lessons are meant to be thought provoking but fun, so give them your best efforts. Remember, there are no bad ideas here!
