Welcome to lynda.com's ZBrush 3 Essentials. In this course, we're going to learn how to sculpt using digital clay. We'll learn how to transform a photograph into sculptural detail, and how to use photographs to create surface texture. We'll create virtual armatures for characters. We'll talk about painting colors directly onto the surface of a model. Use ZBrush's intuitive tool set to create fine details for sculptures.
We'll import and edit 3D created in other 3D programs. We'll look at painting 2 1/2 dimensions, and how we can create a illustrations and incorporate 3D models into them. We'll talk about about creating and using Zbrush materials. We'll talk about interactively changing the lighting in a 3D scene. By the end of the course you should feel comfortable using ZBrush to create you own 3-D models and illustrations. So let's get started.
