The sheer size and power of YouTube has also made it an indispensible tool for business and marketing. Your YouTube channel is very important for achieving marketing and advertising goals on YouTube because it's essentially your companies home on YouTube. This is what the Kinetico channel page looks like right now. And it's mostly generic. This batter image is one of the ones that's just available on YouTube. I didn't upload it and infact you may even see a message here inviting you to upload your own image if you've never uploaded it. Obviously this is a generic avatar here and we could either put the picture of an individual or our company logo.
And throughout the channel page all of our videos will populate here when we flesh them out and have more videos. And we have some space here for a description and links and links to other channels. We can host discussions on our channel but this is not the page for a particular video. This is the page for our home, what's called our channel on YouTube. And if you're not sure how we got here this is the difference between an individual video.
So, there's the link to an individual video as it appears on our channel or really anywhere else on YouTube. And from a video anytime you see a link to the person or company that posted the video, there or there, that's going to take you directly to the channel. Now, of course, I'm logged in as this user so you see some other choices, like channel settings. But just clicking the name of the user takes you to the channel and as I said ours is not built up yet. we're going to do some lessons to build up the different aspects of our channel but it is good to look at some corporate examples.
Here we have Coca Colas channel page and you see their banner image, their logo image, they've added links up in the top bar here. Coca Colas also done a lot of color coding and other things and I do want to caution you as you look at professional examples, (INAUDIBLE) is another one. I want to caution you that there is an enterprise level here and we're looking at some high-end examples here. And we're going to do a lot of the things that they've done, but some of the layout choices they've made.
And some of the extra buttons in these, sorts of, things that comes with a higher level of integration with YouTube. And enterprise account, which if you're at a large corporation, you may want to research having that higher level of control through a It's no longer free that enterprise accounts so it's a deal you make with Google to customize more. So, we're going to wrap back around to KinetEco and use everything available through a free YouTube account to customize our channel page.
And make it a real home on YouTube for our marketing activities for this solar energy company called KinetEco. So, let's see how that's done.
