So we've come a long way, folks. we went from complete scratch to a finished working WordPress theme. So if you have access to the exercise files for this theme, you're going to get this theme and the blank theme and the base HTML and CSS template and the Photoshop file. Feel free to do whatever you would like with any of those files. If they're going to help you, if you can recycle and use some of that in your own project, definitely go ahead and do that. If you have any questions about using those files, go check out the video "Using the Exercise Files." Now, just because you watched this whole series on building a WordPress theme, it doesn't mean you're not going to have any more questions. I'm sure that you will.
And I want to cover a few resources that you can go to with those questions. I think the number one place is wordpress.org itself. It has this thing called the Codex, their documentation for WordPress, and there is just lots of information in here. Every single WordPress function is documented. All the way from really the basics, getting started in installation, all the way through lots of advanced topics. So if you have a specific question on a way WordPress works, check out the wordpress.org page first.
Now, if you're more of a book person, WordPress doesn't have an official book per se, but there is a number of books available. I wrote one of those books. It's called "Digging into WordPress," which you can find at digwp.com/book, and buy it as a PDF or a print version from there. There are a number of sites that I think are really nice sites that I subscribe to, are my favorite sites about keeping up-to-date about WordPress and tips and tricks about WordPress. One of those is wpengineer.com, one is Justin Tadlock's site, one is yoast.com, and wpcandy.com, some of my favorite sites to subscribe to for WordPress news and information.
That wraps it up, folks. I very much enjoyed our journey of building a WordPress site together and wish you all the best of luck in your WordPress journey.
