Hi! Welcome to Migrating from Word 2003 to Word 2010. I am David Rivers. Microsoft has incorporated some major changes and improvements in Word 2010. So if you plan on migrating from Word 2003, this course will help to make your transition to Word 2010 as smooth and seamless as possible. Now, many of the common tools and commands found in Word 2003 may be performed in a different manner in Word 2010, so we'll be sure to investigate items like the mini toolbar and customization options to help you work more efficiently and designed to give you the tools you need when you need them.
Then it's onto some of the common features you may be accustomed to using in Word 2003 that have changed in Word 2010. Features like the one you will use to create an entire document from document building blocks. And then there is a new way to translate text on the fly or even add a screen capture to a document in Word 2010. So with so many topics to cover, it's time to get started.
