In this course, we will be showing you how to install and set up V-Ray, as well as locate V-Ray tools and controls in the Maya UI. We will look at some of the V-Ray specific light types available to us, and break down V-Ray's versatile global illumination engines.

We will make use of the all important V-Ray materials, to re-create some useful material type, such as cloth, reflective metals, and glass. Then we will put some of V-Ray's effects tools to work, creating powerful in render effects, such as depth of field, motion blur, and caustics. If you're ready to build up your rendering skills, let's go ahead and dive right in.
