Video: Differentiating between Story Plus and Story Free

I want to clarify the differences between Adobe Story Free and Adobe Story Plus, and one way to do that is to take you to the Help page. If you are inside either one of those products and click on Help, you will get to this site here, help.adobe.com, and then you can see the rest of URL right there. If you go there, then you have a link to this Adobe Story version's Comparison, which is kind of a midway link when you go there. It says that Story's two versions, Plus is available as part of the Cloud or sold separately by subscription, and Free is available at no charge, and this is online only.

It says that Story's two versions, Plus is available as part of the Cloud or sold separately by subscription, and Free is available at no charge, and this is online only.

So you go to the Adobe Story site and then log in, and you have this one, free, but it's only online you can do Adobe Story Plus offline. But there are more details, if you go to this URL here--sort of a funny thing as you go from the US website to a UK website and the price is in pounds. But nevertheless, this is the comparison. You will notice that things on top here are shared. These are basically script writing tools and collaboration tools. Shared script editing, things like that, where things were no longer contained in the Free version but only the Plus version down here.

These tend to be about production planning and offline stuff. You can do offline work with Plus but not with Free. This Free is only available in the Cloud, whereas Plus can be on your desktop as well. Then there's some production planning stuff here as well, plus some predefined things like Character Sets and Lists. So those are the differences between Adobe Story Free and Adobe Story Plus.
