Utilizing the Steady Stroke and shape tools
In this video, we are going to take a look at the Steady Stroke and the Draw Style in SketchBook Pro. So, Steady Stroke is this icon at the very top in the toolbar. And if I click that one time, you'll notice how Steady Stroke works. It actually puts in a blue leader line and then it puts a trailing pixel at the end of that. So what this allows me to do, is it creates very, very smooth lines and takes out the jitter and any noise in that stroke. If I go up to Edit > Steady Stroke, this opens up my Option Box for adjusting the length of that leader line. I can take the leader line to a very short length, which allows me to do very intricate areas like this. Or I can increase the length quite dramatically, to allow me to put very, very smooth, long, gradual curves in like so. So typically, if I’m using the Steady Stroke, I usually leave my option box open and I adjust the trailing edge as I need to. So in this case, we’re going to zoom into. The F1 wheel here.
