The Ruler, Ellipse, and French Curves tools

In this video, we're going to take a look at the next three icons, which are the Ruler, the Elipse, and the French Curve. So let's open up our layer register, we'll move it over. I'm going to choose felt pen, in black. So let's start with the Ruler option. So the Ruler option has a center pivot point, which allows me to move the ruler in to any position. I can also change the angle of this ruler, just by using any one of these outer-points. If I double tap the outer-point, it will snap to a horizontal mode, like this. If I change my ruler to a vertical axis, even roughly, and then double tap, it will snap to a vertical mode again. So let's bring that back down to horizontal, double tap. And what we can do here very simply, is we could just put in a grand line, like that. And the way this works is that, it doesn't matter where my cursor position is. Even if it's out in space, it will always snap to that ruler. So, it's great to be able to put parallel lines in, using this function. So,…
