Darken options

So in this video, we're going to get started with looking at the darken options in the Blend Modes. So right now, we have our F1 wheel active, and that's on our normal mode, which is the default state for any new layer. So we're going to go into our Blend Mode, we'll make that invisible. And you'll notice the blend mode right now is also in its normal state. So let's go ahead and go the very first one, which is darken. So remember, these first four will always darken the image. So in darken, darken keeps all the darker pixels dark and the lighter ones become transparent. What it does is, it looks at the luminous value between the base and the blend, and selects which one is the darker of the dominant color. Now this blend doesn't actually blend. It actually just keeps the darker of the two options. Whichever is the darker, that's the one it's going to keep. And it chooses it between the blend and the base layer.
