- Well Rich, now that our desk has disappeared, we're gonna talk about another way to build a dolly. And this one is kind of out of, you know, cinema meets the big box home improvement store. - Yeah, it all starts with a simple platform in that case. This is one that was pre-made from a company called GlideShot. If you flip that around, you'll see it's essentially a steel frame, and because this is at an angle, rather than the skateboard wheels going straight down and sitting on the ground, they create sort of a channel here. - Yeah, and this is really just one inch, maybe three quarter inch plywood and all they've done is sort of put a little bit of a rug on top to kind of keep it from slipping, getting splinters and that kind of stuff. And my feeling about this is that if, you know, you knew what you were doing in a machine shop kind of thing, this would be pretty easy to put together.
