Mounting camera to windows
- So, one option for shooting with windows if you want to shoot into the car, is to use a suction cup mount. Here I have one from Arkon. And I can attach this, they make a wide range of consumer and prosumer-type mounts. And I'll just put this in here, snap that in and tighten it. And you see it's using a GoPro mount. Now most of these types of mounts work pretty well. What you'd do is you attach it to the surface and then you, we'll just pull this out of the way so you can see a little better, put it where you want. This one's nice and sticky in fact, they've got a very sticky suction cup, unlike a lot of the other ones. But it's not just the stickiness of the suction cup, when you pull this lever, it creates a very solid mounting point, and now I can adjust this articulating arm to the right spot and angle that, tighten that down, that works really well. Now I'm going to end up using this one on the other side of the car just so we can shoot with both of those. But to get it off…
