Now let's talk about lenses. Fixed lens NX cameras like the Sony NX5U or the Canon XF100 are fine and will get the job done. But having the ability to swap out lenses opens up a whole new world of creative image possibilities. So interchangeable lenses is probably the biggest feature I'd like to have in a camera for corporate video work. Simply because it gives me many more options to be creative, maximize the image quality, and solve some common practical production problems. Some of the lenses I prefer to have on hand are a wide prime, something like a 14 or 20 millimeter. Is great for tight spaces, shooting landscapes and showing everything in an environment. A lot of times, it's hard to capture an entire room. But a wide lens makes that easy. Another thing I like to have is a nice mid range zoom lens. Something in the 24 to 70 millimeter range is fine.
