- Hey there, I'm Robbie Carman. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And welcome back to another week of Video Gear Weekly. And Rich, this week we want to talk about white backgrounds and white backdrops. Now, when I think about the white background or white backdrop, I instantly go to, I don't know, things like Apple commercials and high-end fashion photography. You know, reality is that white, by a lot of people is seen as clean and fresh and you know, bright and all of those adjectives I think are really, you know, what white backgrounds are all about. - Yeah, the goal here is to keep things clean and simple. Now, there's lots of different ways to pull this off, and this week we're going to explore them. We're going to work with a paper backdrop, we're going to go ahead and use a portable backdrop system, and then we'll come back here into the studio. You see the sight behind us, so let's explore what you could do with a pure white backdrop.
