Evaluating the Footage
Alright, we have some of our cheap lens footage loaded. Let's just take a quick look at some of the properties. I'm not so concerned about the motion, just some of the, the static frames should work real well. >> Yeah, let's, let's go ahead and take a look at some of the Fujian lenses first. >> Yep. >> So say that the rim company is named after. >> Fujian. >> Fujian, there we go. I'll just go ahead and make this a little bigger and so we take a look. And this is just a little slide move. And the thing I notice about this as I, as we scroll through it, is that it definitely has a distinct character. It almost looks like 70's-esque to me. >> Yeah. >> It has a little bit of a, sort of a, a grittier type feel now. This was shot on a BlackMagic Pocket Cinema camera in log mode, so that's why it does look particularly flat. But what I like about this is that it has sort of a gritty look.
