Sharon Steuer has been creating artwork since she could hold a crayon. For the past three decades, she has pioneered the merging of traditional and digital art forms. Sharon's recent artwork weaves together oil paintings, digital paintings, drawings, photographs, and personal artifacts in an exploration of fragmented childhood memory. She is the author of the bestselling Adobe Illustrator WOW! Books and Creative Thinking in Photoshop, regularly contributes to CreativePro.com, and hosts and curates the #DigitalArtistSpotlight at AstuteGraphics.com. She and her husband, sound artist Jeff Jacoby, have collaborated on a number of projects including large-scale installations and local culture articles for UntappedCities.com. Sharon has been honored to receive the Faber Birren Color Award, a Winsor Newton painting award, three Benjamin Franklin Awards, and an Artist Fellowship Grant from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. Sharon's painting studio is in the Mission District in San Francisco. For more about Sharon and her work, see facebook.com/SharonSteuer.
