Working with slide libraries
- [Instructor] This next library that we're going to look at is one of my favorites in SharePoint, because I come from a work environment where as the head of the department I was required to give presentations. Presentations had to be consistent with corporate look and feel, so gathering information from various other departments to put together in a slideshow became a little bit cumbersome using PowerPoint and all the different formats. But with a slide library, which we're going to look at now, you can source slides from all kinds of different presentations and then go pick and choose those slides as you need them to create your own presentations. I love this concept. Here's how we create our slide library. We go up to the Site Actions drop-down, and click Create. Now keep in mind that you need to be in a SharePoint Server environment, so you need MOSS 2007 to see these options at the bottom of the libraries column, including the Slide Library.
