- [Instructor] If you've got MOSS 2007 SharePoint Server installed in your SharePoint environment there's a couple of additional list templates that we haven't talked about yet that will appear on your create page. That's the KPI list, as well as a languages and translators list. In this lesson we're going to explore the KPI list, or Key Performance Indicator list. Now KPIs, if you're not aware, are quantifiable measurements that determine the success in achieving some kind of business goal. Now in SharePoint we can display KPIs to users in terms of a KPI to allow them to be informed of current business conditions when they're making key decisions in the organization. A good example of KPI that I've worked with in the past working as a training manager in a software company was revenues. We tracked our revenues all the time, so any time you logged into a site you could see on a KPI list where you stand at that point in the month. Another option would be to display ratings.
