Creating permission groups

Microsoft SharePoint 2013 provides the ability to manage permissions on sites, individual lists, libraries, folders and documents. Now to do this, employees within your organization are assigned to groups. These groups are in turn assigned to permission levels based on their role within the organization. Each level of permission allows for different tasks to be accomplished on the various SharePoint sites. So with that said, let's, let's look at explore California in the sales team site. Now at the top most page, which is here on the home page, we're going to look at the groups that exist for permissions. To do this, we click on the settings icon right beside your log in name and here we click on site settings. Now there are all sorts of links and options here within this page. The one that we want to zero in on is here under Users and Permissions. Now we want to click on Site permission, and here we see the different groups that exist for the Sales Team site.
