Hi, I am Bart Poulson, and I would like to welcome you to SPSS Statistics Essential Training. SPSS is a statistics and data analysis program from IBM. It's very popular, it's very powerful, and it's a great way to work with your data for new insights. In this course, I'll demonstrate how to use charts, such as histograms, bar charts, scatter plots, and box plots to get the big picture of your data. I will show you how to use inferential statistics, like T-Tests, analysis of variance, and chi-square to help you determine the reliability of your results and how they can generalize to a broader population.
I will also show you how to enter and read data in SPSS and how to check and clean data. If you're new to SPSS, I think you are going to be amazed with what you can do. If you're an experienced SPSS user, there will be many new tools and methods that can help you gain even more insight from your data, and with that in mind, if you're ready to get going, let's get started with SPSS Statistics Essential Training.
