Extruding the remaining profiles
- In this video, we will complete the seat and head tube along with the bottom bracket shell. We'll be starting with the 01_04_Extruding the remaining profiles part file. For the seat tube, let's create a perpendicular reference plane in exactly the same way we have done before. And for this plane, I'll be using the left of base line. With that in place, let's name it SeatTubePlane. Let's start a new sketch on this plane. On the origin, I'll simply use a circle. Feel free to try other profiles if you'd like. For example, a slot or ellipse. I'll dimension the circle to 40 millimeters diameter. Exit the sketch, and let's name it SeatTubeProfile. We will use a simple extrude surface command for this, so we only need a single profile. Let's hide the SeatTubePlane as well. Activate the surface extrude command. Let's use an Up To Vertex End condition, and use this bottom vertex. Complete the command, and let's name the feature SeatTube. So we don't get confused, let's hide TTprofile1and 2…
