Adding subkeywords to an index

A great way to add more flexibility to your Index is to have one keyword associated with several others. These are known as subkeywords and we're going to add some subkeywords now using our How to Use LDC References Project and we are also going to associate some new entries with existing topics. So as we scroll down our list here, we notice there is really nothing about subscriptions. So we're going to click in the empty field here in our Index pod right above our list of keywords. Once you've clicked in there, type in the word Subscription. Now when you press Enter, you'll see what happens. It gets added to the list alphabetically and you'll also notice that it's bolded and that tells us that it's not associated with any particular topic. Now we're going to add a subkeyword. So let's click Subscription, and on the toolbar, you'll notice the second one in is a new index sub keyword and when we click that, it will be a keyword that is under Subscription, and all we have to do is type…
