Introducing alpha channels

Next up, we introduce the concept of Alpha Channels. Just like the RGB Channels we always get with our rendering, the Alpha Channel is just another bit of data that can be stored with the file. A good way to understand this concept is to think of a Photoshop layer. The Alpha Channel is those areas where there are no pixels and we can see through to the areas behind. So in this demo, I've got the glow wall studio set. I'm going to go ahead and just turn off the floor and wall, to see what happens when we look through objects. Now another tip is we need to make sure that any lights that are visible like this one here at the very top. Is set to invisible, otherwise it'll look like geometry in the scene. So, I have got it selected there. I am going to go over the to Properties, select Light, I am going to scroll down a bit.
