It often happens that you need to import questions from a previous quiz into your current quiz. Here I am in question view of my new hire quiz, which I'm building. And I want to grab a question from a products quiz I created some time back. To import questions into your quiz, from question view, select Import Questions. Then you're asked to browse for it. I'll select, here's that old products quiz I want to grab a question from. Select it. Select Open, and you'll see, I can see all of the questions from that earlier quiz.
Couple of options I want to point out. You have an option to include all the questions if you want to, and you can also import and replace the result slide. We'll be talking about the result slide in a future movie. For now, here's the question. It has to do with Ron, an avocado farmer. I will select it. It's the only question I want from this quiz. Select OK, and it has been imported right there. When you import questions, you may want to change the order in which the questions appear in the quiz.
For instance, I want the Ron question to be third here. So, there are two ways you can make that happen. You can select Ron, and then go up to Move Question, and then select the up arrow. Or, the easier way, is to just select the question you want to move and then drag it to where you want it. So, I want it in this third position. I'll let go and there it is. If you want to edit or just take a look at the question, and it has been a while since I've looked at this one, you can select it and then go up to Edit Question, or you can just double-click. In this instance, it just takes me to slide view and then I can read it, check it out, get more familiar with it. And that is how you import an existing question into your quiz, with a little bit of information on managing the question once it has been imported.
