If at any time you come across a problem with Pro Tools, I highly recommend visiting the Avid web site, and utilizing their Knowledgebase. Click on Support & Services, and navigate over to the right side. Under Pro Tools Support, click Knowledgebase. Just type in some keywords about your issue into the search box down here, and you'll often get an answer on the first page of the search results. I've used this countless times for my own studio and almost everyday for helping out my students.
There is also a great tool to help with troubleshooting called the Tech Support folder. It includes a tech support utility, a PC Wizard, and troubleshooting sessions. This is probably included when you install Pro Tools on your computer, but if not, you can download it from avid.com. If I type it in here into the Knowledgebase and search for it, it comes up right here. Once you've downloaded it, you can look at what's included: the PC Wizard, Tech Support Utility, and Troubleshooting Sessions.
Just check out the associated PDFs to find out how these tools can help if you are experiencing any troubles with your Pro Tools system. The third reference I'll recommend for troubleshooting is the Digidesign User Conference, nicknamed the D-U-C, or the DUC. Go on to this site, and look for answers in a wide variety of posts. You can do a search, you can join in to conversations, and comment on other posts, and help other people with their issues, too. Let's scroll down here, and you can see Pro Tools HD, Surround & Post, Live Sound, and all sorts of other areas for discussions.
There are tons of resources on here for any kind of system that you have. You can ask questions about virtual instruments in MIDI, any of these guitars, drum rooms, anything you can think of. If all this fails, and you can't find what you need on the Avid web site or the DUC, you're going to have to contact Avid's tech support. You can do that right here on their site. Click on Support & Services, and choose their Support Center or Contact Support. So hopefully, you won't need tech support, but if you do, I've shown you a bunch of different options for troubleshooting here in this video.

Access exercise files from a button right under the course name.
Search within course videos and transcripts, and jump right to the results.
Remove icons showing you already watched videos if you want to start over.
Make the video wide, narrow, full-screen, or pop the player out of the page into its own window.
Click on text in the transcript to jump to that spot in the video. As the video plays, the relevant spot in the transcript will be highlighted.
